This drive-through light display covers more than a mile of one of Allentown's most beautiful parks (Lehigh Parkway) and features lighted trees, light tunnels and animated displays. This year’s theme is “Holiday Candy Land.” So visitors are in for a sweet adventure. . "Lights" will transport you to a magical place filled with an abundance of lights and holiday spirit. All you need to do is gather up your family and friends and make your way to Lehigh Parkway to share in this unforgettable holiday event. Join the hundreds of thousands of visitors who leave the display full of holiday cheer. No need to worry about parking or inclement weather . . . simply stay nestled behind the wheel of your vehicle as you and your family travel through the many adventures waiting around every bend. Enjoy a variety of holiday tunes on our special Lights radio frequency – 98.3 FM. "Lights" is the centerpiece of the new Lehigh Valley Holiday Tour, which welcomes groups from across the country who want to get a glimpse of the area's Yuletide traditions, holiday attractions and cultural exhibitions. Now in its thirteenth shining season, "Lights" has become an annual tradition for many families throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond (many people visit from out of state to experience this unique display). Parkway souvenirs. Santa will be visiting the barn Thursday through
Sunday evenings during the display and photos with Santa are available
for $7.00. Part of the proceeds benefit local community groups whose members volunteer to staff the display. Recipients include the Cub Scouts, school groups, the Allentown Fire Police and community groups. |
